Art of Galway Exhibit
Well, we made it! The Art of Galway Exhibit opened Thursday last with a blast of energy in the Dominican Hall, Claddagh (right behind the Claddagh church, or the first left after the fire station) A small but powerful choir opened the ceremony along with the Mayor of Galway and Claire Keegan (Director of the Galway Fringe Fest) and then a group of bongo drummers lit a few candles, pulled around a circle of chairs and tapped out some lovely beats.
A Picture a Day from Galway Bay wishes to thank all who helped us especially; Aidan Murphy, Brian Corcoran,Frances Daly, Sammi Kalif,Margaret Crean and Cathy O' Donoghue. The exhibit is open from 11am until 6pm every day through the 30th of July. We may even have it there for Race Week as well.
